The food is great! It could be better if the staff would deliver it before it gets cold. A typical steak and chain establishment, good food, horrible staff. Always getting overlooked with a smile...a pour attempt at hiding the fact that there stretched too thin. If you come, prepare to wait...and wait...and wait. You get the point.

Note to Manager: Get your greeters to GREET! 4pm. Didn't seem like a good start when the "host/greeter" asked us how many. 4 adults, 2 kids. He said "We only have high tops available!" I looked around at the mostly empty restaurant and asked "Are you kidding? How about pushing a couple of those empty tables together?" Luckily the Manager came along and seated us at a 6 top booth. Really not sure what the first guy's problem was. The food was good, the baked potato was delish! The waitress was nice. But I would never bother to go back again. There are too many good places to bother with this 3 star place again.

I usually shun chains, but I am increasingly thankful for the predictability of their menu items, quality, and service. LongHorn can get crazy busy during the weekends so plan accordingly (read: don't schedule a move @ Quail Springs mall too close to your estimated dinner time). Service is great, the waiters hustle if you tell them you're in a rush (you know, to catch that movie you schedule too closely to dinner), and they will refire your steak if it's too rare. For dessert, get the chocolate stampede -- chocolate cake, dark chocolate mousse, milk chocolate mouse, dark chocolate ganache, dark chocolate shaving, and gooey fudge served with vanilla ice cream. Yum!

I picked up Longhorn last night for dinner. I had the ribeye, baked potato, Caesar salad and bread. It was very good! I ordered medium on the steak and it was perfect. Also it was reasonably priced. Got it all for about $25. OKC you really should go there more!! It is usually not very crowded and the food is good.

Excellent steak! I get Flo's Filet everytime and it's always cooked to perfection...green beans are wonderful and the staff is great! I rather eat here than outback!

Nothing special. The food was kinda bland. Service was okay tho. Not a return customer.

This place is VERY overpriced for the quality of food. The NY Strip was WAAAAAY over seasoned, the Broccoli was dry & tasteless, they only brought the "endless" bread once at the beginning of our meal, they served generic sodas (Mr. Pibb, cola, etc), & the Cesar salads tasted as though they used generic dressing & were skimpy! Sooo disappointed! Definitely not worth $110 for 4 people! We will definitely go to Cimarron's Steakhouse next time!!

I love Longhorn. It is my go to place whenever we are having a special event. The caramel apple gold rush is to die for. It's everything you love about apple pie in one dessert!

Ok, my mother always said if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all. But in this instance, my note is for the manager. We called ahead on Labor Day evening and said we would be there in about 10 minutes. We arrived in 10 and were told by a man that it would be about 10 minutes to be seated. There were plenty of empty spaces in the front parking lot and plenty of open tables but we just sat down and waited. We watched one man's timer ding and he was seated, we assumed we would be next as there was no one else waiting besides us. Then an older couple came in and was shown to a table right away. We looked at each other and thought, perhaps we are next. Then, a group of 3 comes in the door and were seated as well and we just sat there. Thought, that's frustrating. But, we were patient. Then, another couple comes in and gets seated as well. I looked at my wife and said, it's time to leave. We turned our timer back in and said we were leaving. The woman at the stand said she was just about to seat us. I said, no thanks. We walked out. What a shame because we thought tonight we would try something different and Long Horn was it. Oh well, I guess they don't need our business. I wish I would have read the reviews before I wasted my time. As a note to the manager and as someone else said, invest in your hostess as they are your first impression. The food and service could have been 5 stars but the people greeting and seating your customers turned this customer away for now. Perhaps I'll give it another try some day but likely not. What a shame...

I can't really find anything special to say about this place. It was a busy Saturday night with about a 30 minute wait. The food was good. The service was good. Meh.

Service was excellent and fast for lunch but not too busy either. Caesar Salad was way too peppery. The Black & Bleu burger was crusted in black pepper but blue cheese was good and it's all stacked on a tower of bread. Chicken fried steak was great, but the potato was boring without nothing but margarine. Did I mention that all the food seemed to be dipped in black peppercorns?

The food would have been delicious of it wasn't over seasoned way to much. Steak and shrimp should speak for itself not be drowned in salt and pepper.

Enjoyed a dinner on a Sunday evening at Longhorn. The bartender Shandell (sp.?) was very friendly and attentive. Had the Wild West Shrimp shareable appetizer. A little too (spicy) hot for my taste, but large portion and easily devoured. Salad was upgraded from house to a strawberry pecan salad with grapes and oranges. Dressing was raspberry and very delicious. Shandell suggested it. Went with an 8oz sirloin topped with Parmesan and a loaded baked potato. The potato was cooked perfectly! The steak came out medium rare as requested and full of flavor. Can't forget the honey wheat bread...freshly baked and bountiful. My only regret was that I was unable to fit dessert in this time around as they all looked delicious, but I was beyond full.

This place isn't too bad for a chain-restaurant; but it definitely has the chain-restaurant vibe. I met a couple of friends here for dinner before a movie and we all ended up getting steaks. They were out of prime rib that night so we ended up getting a rib-eye instead. The steak was well-cooked but was on the salty side of seasoning. The baked potato wasn't too shabby, but my standards aren't exactly high for potatoes since I don't eat them that often. Our waitress was nice, but I could tell she was getting a little overwhelmed when a massive table got seated in her area. When we were finished with our meal, I asked for a to-go box and about 10 minutes later it finally came. I totally understand big tables, but you have to learn to multi-task and serve your other tables also. My steak ended up costing around $21 which isn't too bad for a filling meal, but it was definitely not delicious enough to make another trip back here; so next time, I'll be sure to visit a local steakhouse and let my mouth water over a prime rib. Medium Rare, of course.

The longhorn steakhouse seems as though it will be comparable to other chain steakhouses. Only, most of the people aren't dressed for dinner, many were still in their pajamas. I guess they were wearing shirts and shoes. But it turns out that following the letter of the rules is pathetically lacking. And management can choose to deny service to some people, and should. The pretzel appetizer was, as seems to be true of most "pretzel" items in the world right now, Not At All like pretzels. They were deep fried, they had no salt, they were the same consistency from the exterior to the core. The cheese dipping sauce was too wet and mostly cheep beer. The salads were wildly over dressed. The leek and potato au gratin was fairly good. Though one might be surprised by that from listening to my server who said that they tasted horrible and "oniony". I didn't say that. No one else who was eating in the restaurant said that, the server did. She also said that the frozen drinks were aweful and that they were mostly ice and that they were returned more often than not. This was, oddly, the same server who brought my first drink fairly quickly and then left my empty glass at the front of the table through two courses, both of which I attempted to ask her to bring me a refill. She ignored when I made it clear that the steak was burned all to hell. She brought my table one loaf of bread before she brought out check (when she brought the second). If nothing else was learned, it was avoid this server who can't be named.

Pretty good steak for a pretty good price. Not a top end steak but not a top end price. I have no problem eating here again. Everything about this restaurant was good. Nothing over the top here. Wish I would have wrote this review a little closer to the time I was here to give more details. Good eats at a good price.

I would have given Longhorn Steakhouse 5 stars, because it's always been A+ service & awesome steaks...until our latest visit. We met some friends for our anniversary on Christmas Eve. Of the 4 of us, 1 steak was cooked well-done, and the other 3 were undercooked. Our friends sent their steaks back, and the manager comped the steak that was overcooked. I ordered my steak medium, and it came medium rare. I took one bite of my steakhouse mac & cheese, and it was hot. But then, the next bite was cold. I wish I would have sent mine back, too. I was sick the next day after eating just 2 or 3 bites of my undercooked steak. Very disappointing!

One of my least favorite steak places ever. Twice we have been there and twice disappointed. Today we ate lunch. I ordered flo filet, med well, salad, stuffed potato with everything on side. Waited 8 min for salad and he had wrong dressing in mine, so waited again for dressing and began to eat when my steak was delivered. Seriously! I sent all back and was told, not to worry as it will stay warm. I did not feel the waiter understood the meaning of timing. This a huge issue for this restaurant. Once I finished my salad I accepted my steak which was luke warm best, the stuffed potato side was a tiny cup with sour cream and butter together and a dash of bacon bits and 6 strands of cheese....shocking!!!! I requested more. Also I think it looked depressing in there, way too dark and it did not seem clean, the glass paneled door to restroom was discussing. I do not plan to waste my money or time at this place again. Very sad.

This is my first Yelp post. Our experience here was so horrible, I was actually motivated to warn others not to eat here. I wish there was a zero rating, I would definitely give it to this place. This was our first time at a Logan's and it will most likely be the last, and definitely the last at this one. The food was HORRIBLE and the service was equally as bad. I had pork chops and they were extremely bland, thin and overcooked. I got the "upgrade" to the artichoke au gratin potatoes, which were best described as a downgrade. They were SWIMMING in grease and looked and tasted like someone had dumped a jar of canned artichoke oil over them. Disgusting. I couldn't even eat them. I notified the waiter, when we were finally able to get his attention (and it was not very busy when we were there), and he got me a lukewarm baked potato. For my trouble, they still charged me for the "upgrade" on the bill. Also, my husband got a sirloin with "steak fries". They were burnt, as in dark brown, and they were just regular old fries, not steak fries. In addition, they had put some sort of sauce over his steak that tasted like lemon juice, and nothing on the menu indicated anything like this would be on the steak. Also, his steak was shaped like a square and extremely tough on one side and not the other. Neither of us had ever seen a steak like this. We'll be sticking to Texas Roadhouse. The food there is always great...ALWAYS.

Me and few friends came through on our way back to Texas and were blown away by the food and service of this place! Our server was Ryan who was polite and very prompt. I ordered the white cheddar bacon filet and it was better than ANYTHING back home. This place deserves all five stars for sure!!!! Also, please give Ryan a raise!!! :)

Great. We got there about 1900 so it was packed. they said it would be about 45 minutes it was more like 25. Our waiter was perfect. The steaks and shrimp were cooked perfect. Cooked perfect but i did not like my shrimp. I had the plank shrimp. its cooked on a board. Did not like the taste at all. I gave it to my wife who loved it. the blue cheese dressing on my salad was fantastic. Overall great meal. Wait time and yucky shrimp keep this at a 4 also menu etc. I have eaten at high end restaurants and this is not high end so not as good as it gets but for the type and menu they did a great job.

My family ate at the longhorn Steakhouse a few weeks ago for the first time and I really liked the food and our waiter who had a great sense of humor. I had the baby back ribs full rack and it was the biggest full rack I've ever gotten at any other steak house. in fact it allowed me to get multiple meals out of it! My wife's salmon was also very good (she gave me a bite!) and the desert which was a sampler was excellent and the bread was fresh and tasty. Pricing was moderate, not cheap but also not expensive with how generous the portions were. The inside was clean, but wasn't anything special in terms of ambiance goes which isn't a bad point. Overall it's about the food and the service and both were very good when we went there and I'm sure we'll be going back.

Stopped in for lunch on Fourth of July. I asked if they had a vegetarian menu just in case ("steakhouse" being in the name I realize that's a long shot but worth a try!). They do not but our waitress was very apologetic about that. There are several items you could make substitutions on but I chose the not so healthy Four Cheese Pasta, to go box on the side. Half of this is plenty, I promise, because it's packed with flavor! Delicious! Hubby was very satisfied with his NY Strip. Skip the 100 calorie per slice bread - not worth it. Service was great!

Last few times service was questionable but July 16 was really bad. I ordered the 8oz Filet and when it came out it was overcooked. They took it back to the kitchen to recook. In the meantime the other 3 people in my party ate all their food and was waiting to order dessert before mine came back out. I understand this happens. My issue is there was no apology or attempt to give any discount to compensate for this. When a steak costs $22.99 my expectation is they would at least offer some sort of compensation for this.

We came and got some steak and forgot it was Mother's Day! Busy! The Flo's Filet was good but it needed some salt. My side was the macaroni and cheese and it was really good, nice and hot and it had bacon and melted cheese on top. We ordered an appetizer but when our food came out, our waitress asked if we needed anything else? We said we still hadn't received our appetizer or my drink. She said she forgot about that and she would go and put the order in. That sucked. When she came back she said they were out of the drink I ordered, so I just drank water since the meal was almost over. When we got our check my drink I did not get and our appetizer that I had a coupon for were both still on the receipt. We had to tell them twice to take them off.

The wife and I made it up here on July 4th. The food and service were good from top to bottom. Excellent steak, perfectly cooked to a medium and excellent waitress. The wife got the 5 cheese pasta and she raved about it. I had a little nibble and it was quite tasty. Only thing I would mention was the baked potato was dry and it was "loaded" but I have yet to get a baked potato that wasn't, ask for extra butter. I would recommend and go back the next time I'm in a steak mood.

I love filet mignon steaks. however my filet tonight taste just like Texas road house 16oz sirlion. My steak was not filet. it was good, but if im paying filet prices I expect not a sirloin. The fire roasted corn taste better than state fair corn. I highly recommend as your side. It is summer season feature. If you like pina coloda then you'll love longhorns version. It is a frozen drink. So ask for it to be blended thick. I did talk with the manager about what kind of filet I had on my plate he stated usda. Well hopefully the kitchen didn't mix up the two steaks. The second steak was better than the 1st one. Not sure what was up with the 1st steak.

We have been here many times as recently as June 2015. Even though this is a chain restaurant, this is the best steakhouse in the OKC area for a moderate price steak meal in my experience. It has been consistently excellent EVERY time. They know what "medium" means for a steak. The margaritas are good. There are several OKC places that do these things well, but this one seems to be the best price to get it.

LongHorn SteakHouse has brought hope to me again when it comes to steak houses as I finally got the steak that I wanted. Great Customer Service, great food, and a sign-up for a free appetizer for tonight. The only reason why they did not get 5 stars was the appetizer as we ordered chili-cheese fries and they missed the chili but they did not missed the cheese nor the bacon. I hope to go there again very, very soon. It is worth every dollar that was spent...and I didn't have to walk on "peanut shells" to eat there. Thank you Long Horn...I will be back very soon!

It's LongHorn and they have damn good steaks and cold beer. I don't think I need to say anymore than that. If you like bloody meat and cold brews then you will be very happy here.

Came for lunch with family, it was a Friday afternoon after the big lunch rush. Took a few minutes to be seated by a very unhappy hostess. Once seated server took order rather friendly. Got appetizer and it was room temp. When meal came out was told that they forgot all about bringing out bread. Wife asked if potatoes soup had bacon in it, told it could be left off, I guess bacon and ham would not be idea some one would think about as the soup had ham in it. Not very pleased at all. Side dish also had a wrapper from a Splenda packet. I would say for the price maybe choose a different steak house as quite was sub par and service was better at Waffle House.

Have eaten here a dozen times or so. Busy on Fri/Sat night. Wait time can be a good 30 minutes. Steaks have always been good. I have had the chicken and fish as well. But my feeling is they over season the chicken and fish. The dinner salad is very good and fresh. I hate getting salads where you see bits that are turning brown on the edges. I would stop here just to have a salad if I wanted a quick bite to eat while I was out. The wait staff has always been good. The chocolate stampede dessert is HUGE. So getting one to go may be a good option if you are already stuffed from the meal. The bar area is fairly large. Non smoking.

This was my second visit to the Longhorn, with this visit being a quiet dinner for my wife's birthday. We were dining on a Wednesday evening, so seating was not an issue. Service was quick and friendly, and I really enjoyed the blackberry tea. My shrimp cocktail came out ice cold (a good thing), with about eight nice sized shrimp. The salad was just OK, being mostly lettuce. I much prefer the salad at the Outback with its cucumbers, cheese, and other toppings. That said, my measure of a steakhouse is the meat, and my 12 oz ribeye was excellent. It was a very good slice of meat for a mid-level steakhouse, and the medium preparation was perfect. This steak left other establishments like the Texas Roadhouse in its wake, and the only steak I've had recently that was better was at The Boulevard in Edmond, where a prime cut ribeye is $34 ala carte. At the Longhorn, dinner for two was $52, which I think is an excellent value for the quality of meal we received.

Profoundly unimpressed. So many better options available, this was especially disappointing, especially for the price range. Service was ok. Food was not good at all. Three out of four of us at the table were very disappointed. The steaks had way too much pepper and the beef was about the quality you might get at a buffet like Country Buffet. My in-laws said they went to this particular location a year ago and had a very good experience; they went with us this year and said it went way downhill. You are better off going someplace else.

LongHorn exceeded my expectations for a restaurant part of the same group as Olive Garden and Red Lobster. Our service was exceptional and the food was pretty good. I came here with my boyfriend, mom and dad for my dad's birthday because he had a good experience here recently plus I had a gift card. I doubt that I would've chosen to come here otherwise but I ended up being satisfied with the decision. I had the Flo's Filet with mac and cheese. My steak was cooked well and between that, the salad, and the complimentary bread (which was awesome), I got very full! I think it was a good value for the money overall. The bill for all four of us was just over $100 which included a couple of cocktails and a beer. I'd advise against getting an appetizer unless you're really starving because you'll have plenty of food with your meal. My boyfriend had a chicken sandwich, his signature item to order, and it was good but not memorable. My parents had a ribeye and lamb chops. I liked the lamb but the horseradish mashed potatoes with it were awful. I like horseradish but those were just a no. So the main reason I'm giving LongHorn 3 stars instead of 4 is because I most likely won't be back, at least not on my own dollar. I'd rather spend my money at a local establishment especially if it's a more expensive meal. If my parents want to take us out there though, I wouldn't say no!

I usually write reviews only when I hate something. Not this time! We ate here for our Christmas dinner. It was so excellent! We had the shrimp and lobster appetizer. Loaded with shrimp and cheese. Could have made a meal on this by itself. My husband had the trout. He loved that it wasn't too done and seasoned perfectly. I had the fried shrimp. A little iffy at a steakhouse, but this was better than Pearls by a LONG shot! Large butterflied shrimp. TEN! The breading was just right. Crispy, not rubbery and not too hard! Reminded us of a little place in Galveston, Shrimp and Stuff. This was the best meal we have had in Forever! Thanks Longhorn steakhouse! Will definitely be back!

We look forward to eating here every couple of months when we get to OKC. Food is always great. We have never had a service problem....it's always been good. But last week we ordered margaritas and when they came, they were completely tasteless....I drinkable. We had to send them back and get a couple more. Waiter was very helpful with this but seemed a little frightened to approach the bartender with this request. We did get two new ones and they were drinkable...but still disappointing. We got the dessert sampler...it was great, but was full servings of three different desserts so we had to get a to go box. Overall good food....wish the margaritas were as good.

I was really dissapointed by the service. They lost our reservation and we waited an hour. Once we got to our seat we waited ten more minutes to be served. Our salad was brought 20 seconds before our entree. Although the steak was good the steamed vegetables were bland and lacked any seasoning. I have eaten at this chain in other cities and this restaurant has nothing in common.

The first time we ate here it was great! The second time in October 2010 it seemed to be lacking. The waitress was slow. My ceasar salad had no dressing on it. I had to wait 10 minutes for the waitress to walk by so I could ask for some dressing. The steak was good, it had some type of crab mixture on top. But the steak wasn't that hot temperature wise, and had gristle on the end. Baked potatoe was good. The chips and dip are interesting, but very tasty, nothing like I've had anywhere else.

Not really impressed. Went in for lunch a little late (12:45) no hostess, stood around and finally the bartender seated me. Service was medicore. got thier "signature" bacon cheeseburger....ho hum. the toppings were very fresh but the meat was uninspiring. I might try them for dinner to see if the steaks are any good but seemed overpriced.
